While education, play, and development is our top priority, we’re also committed to providing a clean and healthy environment.
Here at Early Advantage, we understand the importance of maintaining hygiene to ensure the well-being of every child.
We take care of many of the laundry items that your child needs (bibs, burp cloths, blankets, washcloths, crib sheets, cot covers) so you don’t have to clean them. And since families do not have to provide or clean these items, you as parents save time and have peace of mind that germs are not being brought in from outside.
That’s why we are so excited to announce our brand new commercial laundry facilities as an important service addition to our child care program. This new equipment will help ensure that every infant, toddler and preschool child enjoys a cleaner, safer experience!
The Importance Of A Clean Environment For Our Child Care Center
Every child care center cleans, every child care center has inspections. But Early Advantage is not just a daycare center but a place where the environment is tailored for children’s optimal learning for the best experience possible. To us, the importance of cleanliness aligns with our core values.
Linens and other washable items are used everywhere at Early Advantage and follow a strict process to ensure they are cleaned and sanitized after every use.
- Washcloths:
Any washcloths used for cleaning up spills or messes on your child are sanitized after every use.
It is extremely important to make sure these items are extremely clean between uses to avoid spreading germs. - Cleaning Towels:
We use microfiber cleaning clothes in all of our cleaning practices from wiping down children’s tables to washing windows to cleaning bathrooms to washing floors.
The microfiber cleaning products grab onto germs until our washing machine kills and washes them away. - Toys and Play Equipment:
Soft toys such as stuffed animals and cloth books use a special laundry cycle to prevent germs without damaging the item. - Dress-Up Clothes:
Dress-up clothes worn by children during play are laundered regularly to remove dirt and germs. - Linens and Blankets:
Bedding in napping areas, including sheets, blankets, and pillowcases, are washed to maintain cleanliness and comfort for the children. - Bibs / Aprons:
Bibs used during meal times are washed after each use to remove food residues and prevent germs and odors. - Sleeping / Napping Items:
We provide and launder crib sheets, cot covers, and pillows for nap time. We will also clean the sleep sacks that parents have provided.
